FAMOUS AMOS COOKIES

Yesterday I successfully fulfilled one of my holiday to do list which is to make cookies..

I got the recipe from auntie ida's blog under the name famous amos cookies..
To be honest, I actually never bought FA cookies coz its quite expensive.. I juz taste it once n I dont think its worth it since the taste is not as good as I thought.. But mayb coz it doesnt suit my taste..

However, I made it in order to finish my chocolate in the fridge coz its almost expired..

So this is how the mixture of flour, cooking choc, couverture choc, chopped almond, oatmeal n dessicated coconut looks like which later need to be mixed with mixture of butter n eggs..

The resulted cookies taste nice..almost like chocolate chip but crunchier and sweeter.. I prefer it to be less sweet though..

The dough can be used to make quite many cookies.. I started making cookies from 3pm n ended at 7pm..extremely tired n bored waiting for the cookies to be baked.. So I make this special edition cookies with love shape..hehe..

COVER SEDONDON

I ve completed this mission at last..

The urge is the worst during my final exam n it always happens particularly during final exam..the last time, I had a strong desire to write a blog n luckily I did it after my final exam..

This time, I managed to control it too n included it in my holiday to do list..

By using colored foam n specially ordered online ribbon, I made this cover myself although it may seems self centered coz all of them written my name on it but thats the only idea I came up with since if not, it ll look empty..

FRUITS DIPPED CHOC

I decided to make this bcoz my mom seems to like it very much.. Last time she went to Cameron, she bought lots of strawberry n dreamed to make strawberry dipped choc.. So without my permission, she used my choc but sadly, it turned out that the choc is not melted bcoz my choc need certain technique to be melted..haha..very funny..at last, she gave up n juz eat all the strawberries..

So since I was free last Friday, I made her this.. The strawberry is very expensive, its like RM1/ strawberry..huhu.. So I juz bought about 10 to 11 only.. Bcoz the choc is quite a lot so I add also orange n apple..

To melt the choc is the hardest part.. I cant remember melting this choc can be this hard..huhu.. However, I managed to dip all the fruits though not properly bcoz I need to use my fingers to smooth the choc on the fruit's surface..

As decoration, I use cornflakes, edible love n beads, almond nibs n dessicated coconut..these r the things that I found after rummaging our 20-years old cabinet..

And this is the result..quite messy but taste yummy..lol..
